Welcome to Aura Boost. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our app.
Automatic: When you first open Aura Boost, we create an anonymous account identified by a random UUID. No personal information is required to use the app.
Optional Account Info: If you choose to create an account, we collect the information you provide: your email address (email sign-up) or basic profile information (Google sign-in).
Synced Data: We store your favorite affirmation IDs (not the affirmation text itself), premium purchase status, and login streak count.
Aura Boost does not collect GPS or location data, contacts, browsing history, analytics or event tracking data, or crash reports. All affirmation content is bundled within the app and never leaves your device.
We use the information we collect to:
Local (on your device): App preferences, text settings, custom backgrounds, and cached affirmations are stored locally on your device.
Cloud (Supabase): Authentication credentials, favorite affirmation IDs, premium purchase status, and login streak are stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider. All data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS.
Google AdMob: For free users, we display advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data to serve relevant ads. Learn more at policies.google.com/privacy.
Google Sign-In (optional): If you choose to sign in with Google, basic profile information is shared via OAuth. This is optional and not required to use the app.
Supabase: Our cloud database and authentication provider. Learn more at supabase.com/privacy.
Apple App Store: In-app purchases are processed through the Apple App Store, which has its own privacy policy.
You have the right to:
Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. Deleting your account in Settings permanently removes all data stored in our cloud database. Uninstalling the app clears all locally stored data from your device.
Aura Boost is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can promptly remove it.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app with an updated "Last updated" date.
